A cooperative marketing organization, the World Cities Alliance (WCA) is a non-profit organization that promotes its member regions — Greater Washington, D.C. (encompassing the District of Columbia, Northern Virginia and Suburban Maryland), Val d’Oise-Paris, and Greater Zurich —as ideal locations for locating or expanding a business.

While additional marketing partners may from time to time join in WCA activities, the core membership of WCA is comprised of three economic development agencies:

WCA can serve as a one-stop shop for corporate clients, site selection consultants and other strategic partners by providing complimentary and confidential client services and research. WCA can help companies around the globe to:

  • identify strategic partners and venture capital contacts;
  • meet public and private sector leaders;
  • arrange site tours;
  • obtain demographic and real estate information about WCA’s partner jurisdictions.

The World Cities Alliance is financially supported by its member regions. WCA members work together to develop joint business development activities and mutually beneficial missions and programs.
